Homeland

(2011)

Leitrim is known nationally as the place with the highest rate of emigration in the country, with one-fifth of the population it had on the eve of the Great Famine. It’s a place that draws many of its sons and daughters back with experience of the wider world. Less well known is the community of Europeans, Kurds, British New Age Travellers and Celtic Tiger refuseniks who also call the place home.
