Festival Opening

Brían F. O’Byrne (Jimmy’s Hall) will open the festival. 

Refreshments will be provided.

Adaptation returns for its tenth year with newly commissioned work from regional filmmakers, workshops in screenwriting and acting and a range of film screenings for all age groups and tastes including new work from Roddy Doyle, work from the archive by Anglo-Irish writer Elizabeth Bowen, a celebration of pioneer of Irish-language cinema Bob Quinn and films from the next generation of Irish filmmakers.
