Set against the backdrop of human trafficking between Morocco and Spain, casting and financing are shaping up for the Autumn shoot of this thriller set on the road.

Bandit Films and Dublin-based partners Zanzibar films have hooked up with Sunday Films (Paris), Fausto Producciones (Barcelona) and Sakai Films (Sevile) for Johnny's intended third feature. The screenplay has been co-written with Joe O'Byrne.

Casting and financing are progressing well for The Straits, a feature to be shot in Spain and Morocco in the Autumn with Johnny directing and Edwina Forkin producing.
